The Great Venturian War

The Great Venturian War was a large scale war between more than half of the world's countries, and was fought from 1900 until 1912, ended by the signing of the Treaty of Fatama. The war was fought over expansion and the prevention of the expansionist tendencies of the Republic of Megatridimensional Order and its allies, with numerous countries hoping to gain more land and win extended borders. The war was the 2nd largest in history in terms of casualties, behind only The Greater Venturian War a decade later.

The Great Venturian War was a particularly brutal affair, with both sides scoring massive victories that seemed to sway the war in their advantage. After 12 years, it was clear the Order and the RP had won, being both more experienced in war and more prepared for it. Peace was made in 1912 with the Treaty of Fatama, and the Order was granted expansion rights to the west. The AEA was disbanded.

Belligerents

There were two main alliances in the war, one called the Righteousness Pact, or the RP, and the other called The Anti-Expansionist Alliance, or the AEA.

On the side of the AEA were 6 countries, each one fighting together against the RP. These were The Protectorates of Allia, The United States of Quentin, Carkhia, New Dawn, and Docneighland. These countries generally wanted to protect their territory from what they saw as expansionism, and wanted borders to remain as they were before the war, as well as punishing the RP for their unwanted expansionism and war crimes.

On the side of the RP were 8 countries, fighting against the AEA. These were the Republic of Megatridimensional Order, Paladinia, The United Villages of Southia, Comdantri Nortellus, Bymaria, The Northern Patrons of Ice, The Republic of Trigadia, and The Sovereignty of Drumes.
