Hurricane Maris

Hurricane Maris was a powerful Lankanatan hurricane, being one that spends most of its time in the Lankanata Ocean, which made landfall in parts of Docneighland, the United States of Quentin, and Northern Patrons of Ice in August of 2020, after forming in the Nyoka Ocean in late July. Hurricane Maris caused some high levels of destruction, with the majority of its 29 deaths and billions of dollars in damage being in the Northern Patrons of Ice, although Docneighland was also hit hard. A part of the 2020 Lankanatan Hurricane Season, Maris began as an oceanic depression in the Nyoka around July 25th, turning into an oceanic storm around August 1st. Finally, the storm strengthened to a hurricane after passing the Protrusion of Drumes on August 3rd.

Maris then touched down in southern Allia on August 4th, with extremely minor damage, before feeding off of the Docneighland Straits and moving with major devastation across the islands of Docneighland. Maris then moved southwest over the Quentinian state of Long Beach Island, with minor destruction after it touched down, finally moving directly west to the NPI, causing major destruction as it moved across the country. After crossing the entire nation, the hurricane then dissipated before clearing over the Nyoka Ocean.
