The Northern Patrons of Ice, officially the Kingdom of the Northern Patrons of Ice, Realm of Duckworth is a peninsular, absolute monarchy nation located on the northern tip of the Asper continent, bordering the nation of Ravensonia to the south, the Sea of Stratigeo and Lankanata Ocean to the east, and the Calidihav Ocean to the west. Home to the fifth-smallest population in the world, the nation is the only absolute monarchy currently in existence. Its GDP is the second-smallest in the world, and poverty is rampant in the country of 399,542 square kilometers. The King of the country wields absolute power in government, and though he does convene a Council of Emmin to advise on matters and handle issues across the country, there are no other officials who wield power not delegated by the King.
