The Docneighland Lankanata Wars were a series of small wars from 1930-1943 fought between Docneighland and numerous small island nations in the Lankanata Ocean, including the Kad'dgen Nation, the Houghtersaud Nation, the Pear Warship Republic, the Azurian Isles, Jurjuro Island, and the International Republic of John. During this period there was also conflicts between territories of other countries in the Lankanata and Docneighland, however these are considered part of the Greater Venturian War. The first of these conflicts occurred when Docneighland became angered at the Pear Warship Republic for exporting goods and doing business with nations including the Comdantri Nortellus and the Republic of Megatridimensional Order, who were both opposing Docneighland in the Greater Venturian War.
The Lankanata Coalition seemed to have everything going for them at the start of the war, mainly because Docneighland had most of its military assets and strength occupied by the Greater Venturian War, and also because they were able to be on the defensive, with Docneighland attacking them. However in 1935 the war ended, and Docneighland quickly gained the advantage, repelling attacking forces and circling around the Pearship Republic to attack other smaller nations, then circling back around to capture the Pearship Republic. However, Docneighland still could not successfully defeat the Azurian Isles, as their great area and unity, along with the eventual involvement of Quentinian forces and MTO smuggled goods, provided for a very effective fighting force. Docneighland eventually had too many problems to focus on at home to continue the war, and in 1943 the Treaty of the Isles was signed in Wellasnam. The Lankanata Wars would prove crucial down the road to relations in the Lankanata and even the whole of the Asperian continent.
Causes
The main cause of the Docneighland Lankanata Wars was the trade of goods between the Pear Warship Republic, Kad'dgen Nation, and other islands in the Lankanata to nations in the Righteousness Pact, which was at the time going against Docneighland in the Greater Venturian Wars. These countries included the Comdantri Nortellus, Republic of Megatridimensional Order, and the Nista Federation of States.
