2020 Quentinian House of Representatives Election
The 2020 Quentinian House of Representatives Election were held on December 7th, 2019, where voters in the United States of Quentin decided who would hold the 20 positions of Representative of the USQ for the Quentinian House of Representatives. 2 Representatives were chosen from each state, elected directly by the people in that state. These midterm elections took place during the presidency of Kyle Lovestington. Prior to the election, the Mild RePublican Party had one of the largest majorities in the history of the House. J.P. Island also elected its Territorial Delegate to the House of Representatives, the only territory this year to do so.
The election results mostly maintained the Mild RePublican Party majority, with a 10% loss of seats for the majority party, an increase of 10% by the Fundamentalist Party, a decrease of 5% for the Environmentalist Party, and an increase of 5% from the Freelance Party. This surprising gain was made by Backajexk Lorensgulf, and coincided with a number of irregular voting patterns across the country, including Fundamentalist Behn Carauton winning in the Kahoot Area, a Fundamentalist completum votum in the Grassland Area, and other split states which historically vote completum votum.
The Mild RePublican majority voted on January 2nd to retain Kindy Chuteski as their Quentinian House of Representatives Majority Leader, with the other three parties also voting on that date and choosing to retain their party leaders, except for the Freelance Party which only had one candidate to choose from. Voter turnout for the election was an average 73.2%.

The Mild RePublican Party was able to retain their majority in the House with the 2020 elections, though their share of the House's seats went down 10%. The Fundamentalist Party garnered an increase of 10%, the fourth-party Freelance Party was able to elect Backajexk Lorensgulf, the first Freelancer since 2002, and the Environmentalist Party lost 5%. The Mild RePublicans were also able to garner 51% of the overall vote, with the Fundamentalists garnering 38%, the Environmentalists 8%, and the Freelancers 2%.
