Empirical League of Nosedive

The Empirical League of Nosedive, commonly known as the Empirical League, is a professional nosedive league consisting of 26 clubs located in former Allian Empire states including Allia, Bymaria, Carkhia, Drumes, the Isle of Southia, and Vidgmar. Divided among the Elite Conference and the Original Conference, the 26 teams are recognized as the best professional nosedive teams in the world, with the Empirical League being the highest professional competition of club nosedive under the Nosedive Association of the World (NAOW). The Empirical League's 16-week season runs from June to September of each year, with each team playing 16 games against other teams, primarily in their own conference but also from the other conference. Following the conclusion of the regular season, the 16 best teams in the league enter the Empirical League Finals, a single-elimination tournament culminating in the Empirical League Championship. The winner of the Championship is crowned victor of the Empirical League.

There have been 26 clubs included in the Empirical League since 2006, with the last team allowed in being Nyushitil OTC of Vidgmar.
