The Chimanis first began in the western parts of the nation, drawing their ideals from Fyñe and the Fourth Laborer Socialist Republic, though the Chimanis favor less authoritarianism than the Fourth Laborer. The rebels drew high controversy after the assassination of Pierre Johnpaul, a controversial member of the Regulatory Committee who in 2007 had engineered corrupt dealings with other Zwakazi nations to acquire nuclear weapons. Many members of the Committee, including Hans Brodens who was Allied Minister at the time, supported the rebels in their killing of a criminal, although the majority of the country also believed justice on the basis of law should have been carried out. After their bombing of Christian's Airport along the Fyñe-Zwakazi Alliance border in 2011, the Chimanis were hunted down at the order of the Regulatory Committee, and with the promotion of Susan Chemmanoor to the position of Allied Minister in 2013, the Chimanis' numbers greatly diminished. After a drop in the economy as a result of the Asperian Roofball War in 2019, the Chimanis reemerged, and today are active in the current November Border Dispute.

History
Beliefs and Ideology
The Chimani Rebels are a proponent of socialism within the Zwakazi Alliance, and favor its use by the country similar to use by Fyñe and the Fourth Laborer Socialist Republic. The group also claims to be anti-authoritarian though, favoring little intervention by the government into the rights of citizens, something the rebels see as a serious issue in the Alliance today. The group favors democracy, although it is opposed to capitalism. The Chimanis are also opposed to foreign involvement, seeing both negative and positive relationships the country has as damaging to its security and welfare.

Major Activities
The Chimani Rebels first became notorious for the assassination of Pierre Johnpaul, a member of the Zwakazi Regulatory Committee whose corrupt dealings led to the Alliance's acquisition of nuclear weapons in 2007. The assassination occurred in the western city of Colkantra, as Johnpaul was attempting to escape custody. The assassination earned the group recognition for their patriotism, especially by the Allied Minister of the time, Hans Brodens, however the general public recognized the terrorist nature of the group and the lack of legal justice involved. The group then broadcast the Chimani Manifesto in 2008, gaining the group thousands of new members. Considered more of a political group than one of revolt up until 2011, the group had six members elected to the Regulatory Committee from 2008 to 2011. After the 2011 bombing of Christian's Airport organized by the group however, the Chimani Rebels were classified as criminal by the government, with new Allied Minister Susan Chemmanoor leading the effort to capture the rebels.
The Chimanis reemerged in 2019 by leading public suicides and arson in the city of Jadidis, causing small amounts of chaos and the destruction of a power plant in the city. The group became internationally known in 2020, however, when the 2020 Zwakazi Alliance Cholera Outbreak caused civil unrest and economic chaos, and the group incited border conflicts in the southern and western parts of the nation. Additionally, the group organized a failed attempt to attack the Grand Residence of the Allied Minister.
