2020 Zwakazi Alliance Cholera Outbreak

The 2020 Zwakazi Alliance Cholera Outbreak is a major outbreak of cholera in the Zwakazi Alliance, which began in August of 2020 and has spread to Fyñe, eastern parts of the Nista Federation, and the Republic of Trigadia. The outbreak triggered violence after famine and a disruption of commerce ensued, with the 2020 November Border Disputes, the most recent occurrence of border disputes along the Fyñe-Xevenia border and the Xevenia-Zwakazi Alliance border. Additionally, civil unrest inside the Zwakazi Alliance began to flare up in late September, with the Chimani Rebels assaulting the Grand Residence of the Allied Minister. Although the assault was thwarted, the Chimani moved to the Southern Zwakazian Scoop to cause conflict with Xevenia and Gallanathia.

The outbreak has been identified as originating in the southern region of the Alliance, the most underdeveloped and unsafe region in the world.
