The Alliance of Island Nations (ANI) is an intergovernmental political alliance and forum meant for smaller nations and micronations to discuss issues and cooperate on a global scale. One of the major aims of the organization is for all member nations to be recognized on an international scale, and for their membership to the Venturian Union. Additionally, the alliance members have a defense pact in place, though there are some exceptions, and an economic cooperation plan. Founded in 1996 by the Azurian Isles and Coastal Islands of Atillaraon, the alliance currently has nine members, of which three are members of the Venturian Union. The headquarters of the alliance is in Atlantea, Azurian Isles, and the alliance has established numerous embassies in each member country to establish communication.

The most recent member to join the alliance was Rullabellon, which was accepted in 2019, two years after it declared independence from the rest of the Fourth Laborer Socialist Republic. Rullabellon membership was fiercely debated amongst the alliance members due to its controversial nature and lack of international recognition, however a unanimous 8-0 vote allowed Rullabellon to join in the end. The alliance is opposed by some nations, including the United Villages of Southia, Nista Federation, Paladinia, and Fourth Laborer Socialist Republic among others, many of which agree in theory with the alliance's goal, however do not agree with the inclusion of some nations in the alliance and the effect of the alliance on world trade and politics. The alliance has assured nations repeatedly that it believes representation on the international scale is essential for all people, and that the alliance is of the opinion that this representation should be pursued at any cost.

In 2019, the Comdantri Nortellus internationally sought membership for the first time, after major debate in the country on the issue. Currently, the nation's membership is being considered by both the ANI and the Comdantri, with a decision expected to be made during the 2021 summer session.
