Steve Maxxsmith, 1805

Steve Jenson Maxxsmith was born in 1765 somewhere in eastern Telembria. He was born to his parents, Jacob Maxxsmith and Tia Maxxsmith, who were a middle class family. Jacob made his living as a designer, designing everything from flags to glassware to furniture. He passed this love of designing on to his son, and in his 20s he took up the trade as well. Around that same time, the revolution in Telembria was beginning, and Jacob was staying out of it. He was a loyal citizen to Telembria, he kept telling himself, and he was completely happy here. However, when the rebels claimed victory, he got in a fight with his parents. They apparently had wanted him to move away, and break off any ties he had with them. He then replied that he would do just that, and ended up being one of the Telembrians that became part of the new Republic of Megatridimensional Order. He decided he would go with The Quentinian Party, and went up north. While on the journey, he became incredibly sick with fever. During this time a woman named Jody Turner cared for him, and they developed a very close relationship. Soon after he recovered, but then was encountered with the threat of a canyon. He almost fell to his death, and it was Jody who eventually rescued him from death. Soon after the two were married, and she became Jody Maxxsmith. The couple arrived in Lindin with high hopes, and Steve, having had enough adventure for a lifetime, settled down, had 2 kids, DeMarius Maxxsmith and Rory Maxxsmith, and opened up the first design shop in the Territories. He had great success with the business, and became pretty wealthy. In 1805 he famously created the Flag of the United States of Quentin, and also came to develop a good relationship with Kindy Bost-Jameson. This led him to become involved in the revolution beginning to take place, and in 1818 he pledged to give financial support to The Territorial Assembly for the army they were raising. The MTO Order Guard found out about this, however, and on September 8th, 1819 he was shot to death by an Order Guard squad in an alley in Jameisville. He was 54. Before he died, he stored about 85% of his money in a cellar at Fort McCarthy, with a note which he hoped the Assembly would find, for he expected his upcoming death. The funds helped the Assembly greatly, and in 1821 his body was found, and buried at the Number Seven McCarthy Graveyard.
