The Kade Islands Statehood Act, frequently referred to as the Kade Islands Statehood Petition and officially the Act for the Provision of an Official Petition for Statehood from the Federal Territory of the Kade Islands to the Federal Government of the United States of Quentin, is an act passed by the Kad'dgen Territorial Assembly in February of 2020, which resolved to petition the Quentinian federal government for statehood provided that the 2020 Statehood Referendum voted for statehood by a measure of 75% or higher. Originally the act was called the Kade Islands Statehood Bill, due to its unratified status. However, after the statehood referendum turned out a result of 84%, the Kad'dgen Assembly officially ratified the bill on January 1st, 2021. This formally petitioned the Quentinian government for statehood, and also changed the bill into an act.

The Kade Islands is currently a federal territory of the United States of Quentin, and has held three prior referendums on the topic of statehood, which have all turned out results supportive of statehood. However, the territorial government of the islands has never acted on these referendums before, resulting in drastic changes in the composition of the territorial assembly. In the 2019 Kade Islands Territorial Assembly Elections, there was a Kad'dgen Progressive Party majority for the first time in history, and the new leadership in the assembly voted to pass the Statehood Act, then only a bill, on February 18th, 2020. Ratification would then bring the petition to the Quentinian Congress, where the act would have to pass a combined session of Congress, the President, and the Supreme Council. The Quentinian Constitution provides that there may be a maximum "processing period" of four years, however a delay of any length by the federal government in either approving or denying the request is not widely expected.
