The Quentinian War for Independence was a war fought between The Territories of Quentin (Now The United States of Quentin) and the Republic of Megatridimensional Order. The war lasted from 1823, when the Territories released the Quentinian Declaration of Independence, until 1830 when Order troops were removed, and the MTO recognized the USQ as its own country and relinquished any control over them. The war came about because of the Territories' anger at the MTO's continued imposing of taxes and restricting acts, and the MTO thought the Territories were out of line. Main officers on the Quentinian side were George Firedawn, Maxamiil Schlager, and David Ellison.

Major Battles

1. The Battle of Lindin: The Battle of Lindin was the first real battle of the war, and it took place in the city of Lindin in 1823. The MTO marched from the border, and surrounded the city. They marched in and took over, and won an easy victory before the Territories had any organization yet. Casualties on both sides were only around 54, mostly on the Quentinian side as the MTO marched pretty much unopposed.

2. The Battle of the Crossroads: This battle was not fought in a specific city, but at a major railway conjunction on the border of the Desert and Snowland. This battle was won by the MTO, however they were surprised by the amount of resistance they met from the Quentinians. The casualties in this battle were 165 soldiers on both sides, but this time it was a more even ratio between the two sides. This battle was key because it allowed the MTO army to advance into the Desert, and past the Snowland's cold boundaries.

3. The Fort McHenry Independence Battle: This Battle took place at the Quentinian held Fort McCarthy, the gateway from the Desert to the Grassland. This battle was the turning point of the war in 1826 for the Quentinians. Before this point, the MTO had already taken all of the Snowland and all of the Desert, but this key battle held their army from advancing through to the Grassland and to the capital, Mechanicsburg. The Quentinians won this battle, with General George Firedawn leading reinforcements out of reserve to crush the MTO forces and force a surrender. The battle had around 278 casualties on both sides, and over 200 more wounded. The battle is today called the Fort McCarthy 'Independence' Battle because there have been many battles in Quentinian history that have taken place at Fort McCarthy.

4: The Storming of Snowland: The Storming of Snowland is a very properly named battle, as it did seem like the Quentinian army just stormed through the Snowland in this conflict of 3 days, called The 3 Day March, and kicked the MTO army out of their territory except for Lindin. The 2 separate Quentinian armies, one led by General George Firedawn and General Maxamiil Schlager marched through Snowland in 3 days, one taking the east and one taking the west, just marching through the land and defeating any MTO army that stood in their way. On the 3rd day, August 27th, 1829, the two armies converged in Lindin for the battle that we will be talking about next. The casualties of this 3 day march were low, with only 97 people dying. However, over 1,777 prisoners were taken by the Quentinian army. All were released after the war ended.

5: The 2nd Battle of Lindin: (Also known as the Quentinian Kick-Out) This battle was the final one of the war, and was the one that kicked the MTO out of Quentin completely. The battle was extremely one sided for the Quentinians, because this is where the two armies converged at the end of the 3 Day March. The sheer numbers overwhelmed the MTO army, and in 1 hour and 17 minutes the MTO army retreated back to their own country.
