The BizTown Mailers are a professional Roofball team that plays in The Quentinian Roofball Organization. In that league, they play in The Western Roofball Conference, in The WRC Southeast along with The Yadlapaville Defenders and The Poleton Gangsters. The team has won The QRO Champions Cup 7 times in total, which is the second most times in the league behind The Minersville Miners. Playing in the city of BizTown, at People's Bank Stadium, their current coach is Deb Restutant, and they are owned by Vishnu Venkatesh.

History

The Mailers were founded in 1953, by wealthy CEO of Shah Enterprises and son of Tuvalu Shah, Shah Tuvaluson. He founded the Mailers in BizTown because of the growing popularity of the sport, and built up a team. However, Shah didn't know much about the game or strategy of it, so in the first 2 decades the team lacked good coaches. They had nearly 12 head coaches in these first 20 years, and got in the Tournament only 3 times, as well as never winning a Cup. Finally in 1974 it seemed the team had found its coach, Allen Nurfoch. Allen began to the run the team harder in practice,

They finally did win The QRO Champions Cup in 1979, but after that season the team lost a lot of its management, including Nurfoch after the Deebox Heights Scandal in 1980, as well as their owner dying. The new owner, Libartor Venkatesh, was very enthusiastic about the game, and knew a lot, and in 1981 hired coach Paul Leidigh, considered by many to be the best coach ever in the sport. At that time, however, he was an up an coming college coach from BizTech University. In 1982 the team won their second Cup, led by their coach and legendary players like Al Manning and Kristen Apleige. Their winning continued in the '80s, even though the Miners got the best out of most of their growing rivalry games, winning another Cup in 1987. The '90s were some of the best years for the Mailers, as they were able to defeat the Miners in the regular season as well as in the Cup game in 1994, snagging another before that in 1991, and their 6th in 1996.

Things were looking good for the Mailers, and in 2000 they won again, this time with SM Dean Buzzwater added to their spectacular roster. In 2003, coach Leidigh decided to retire, and died that same year from cancer. The Mailers had a short losing streak from 2005 to 2011, but soon were back in contention again every year, with the league keyed in on every rivalry matchup between the Mailers and the Miners, and that has carried on to the present day.
