The Baltimore Lightning

The Baltimore Lightning are a professional Roofball team that plays in The Quentinian Roofball Organization. In that league, they play in The Eastern Roofball Conference, in The ERC Southwest, along with The Minersville Miners and The Mechanicsburg Businessmen. They have won The QRO Champions Cup twice, once in 1956 and once in 1959, and play in the city of Baltimore, in their stadium United Creed Center. The current coach of the team is Franklin Idavass, and the owner is Brenna Alevis.


History

The Baltimore Lightning were founded in 1941, by their first owner Davis Jaleerason. The team started out very well, and had winning seasons their first 20 seasons. The '50s were their most successful decade, with the team winning two of The QRO Champions Cups, in 1956 and 1959. During this decade the Lightning had talented and legendary players such as Bull Hawckett and Danielle Mortifanze, however not as well known as other, more recent players.
