The Leidigh Bowl is the championship game of the United Vehementiaball League, played between the champions of the Western Grit Conference and the Eastern Defenders Conference. Created and first contested in 1947, the Bowl was named after Paul Leidigh, a businessman who pioneered the founding of the league. The Bowl's name was meant to advertise the Leidigh Company, an education giant in the country, however soon the Leidigh Company became devoted solely to the UVL, and the Bowl name today honors the efforts of both Leidigh and his company.
