President of New Dawn

The President of New Dawn, formerly known as the Consul of New Dawn or the Proconsul of New Dawn, is the chief executive and head of state of New Dawn, directing the government's executive, which includes appointing numerous bureaucratic officials, approving legislation passed by the National Committee, and issuing executive decrees. The President receives his or her power from the New Order of Structure, as well as three actions of the government including the Presidential Order-Decree, the Parties Act, and the First Act of Congress. The Presidential Order-Decree changed the executive's name from the Consul to either Proconsul or President (eventually changed completely to President through tradition), the Parties Act gave the President powers to appoint executive officials, however restricted their influence in the legislature, and the First Act of Congress gave the new New Dawn Congress the power to try the President for crimes, and also formed the President's influence in the courts.
