Capistallan is one of 3 states in the nation of Xevenia. It is the most populated of the three states, with an estimated population of 72.3 million people as of 2019, and is home to the capital city of the nation, Stevensburg, as well as being home to the Liberty River, a main economic source for the nation, and the Glalphan Mountains, which run through the northern part of the nation and are the largest in Xevenia. The first settlement in the state was hundreds of years ago, with Tellaaskullum being the first large settlement, renamed to what is now the capital city of Stevensburg.
After Xevenia bonded together in 1924 to depose dictator Peter Orotro, Capistallan became one of the three tribal provinces that made up the new nation, until 1942 when the Constitution of Xevenia was ratified, making Capistallan one of three new states. Stevensburg is also naturally the capital city of the state, with Northfordsan being another major city, located on the banks of the Liberty River. The state is last in economic development and power, however the southern region especially is a center of politics and trade. Capistallan is also known mainly for its tribal state government, which provides for a chieftain to rule the state, such as a governor does elsewhere, along with a tribal council, which was provided for in the Constitution and attempts to preserve tradition in the nation.
