Bucketball is a team sport played primarily in Paladinia, which involves two teams, each player possessing a racket and attempting to score points by getting a small ball into the other team's basket. These baskets are usually elevated in professional play at least 6 ft off the ground, usually by Neon brand cars in the Logan Bucketball Association. The opposing team attempts to take the ball for themselves, and teams score 2 points by shooting the ball directly into the basket, and one point by getting the ball to bounce in. Fouls can also occur, which result in free throws or gain of possession for the fouled team, and the game ends after two periods of 20 minutes each, with the team having the most points at the end being declared the winner. Bucketball is unique among sports in that it never has any stoppages of play, unless for a timeout, including fouls, change of possession, or steals.

Players advance the ball by bouncing or keeping the small ball on their rackets while running down the field, although if a team advances the ball all the way to their opponent's fence, with the ball touching the fence, it is the other team's ball. Invented in 1884 by Logan Gridley, the sport immediately became popular in Mayberry Logan, which had recently seceded from the United States of Quentin. The game was soon dubbed, "Mayberry Logan's Game, and was changed throughout the years to Paladinia's Game.
