The magic the hero gains after his traumatic incident can be focused towards anything, however Celticsio has focused his magic mainly on daggers, which he used to cut himself free from the electrical equipment in the harbor. His magical daggers can be sent anywhere, as he uses magic to redirect them, adjust their speed and even strength, and also allow them to become sentient, flying in the air beside him without having to be thrown. Besides his magic, which he also uses to keep himself alive and avoid injury, Celticsio uses electric weapons he fashioned himself, mainly his electric batons which allow him to shock and neutralize enemies. Finally, the hero uses special electrostatic boots, combined with magic, to allow him to climb anything. With his magic, he can even fashion mystical steps in midair which allow him to step across the air. Adam Bob is extremely wealthy, as he started his own technology company after his incident.
Celticsio mainly operates in Boston, however he has also operated across Venturia, especially since the 1980's and his inclusion in the Knights of Life superhero group. His unique electric abilities and combination of mysticism and technology make him a valuable asset to the Knights of Life, able to relate to most heroes within the group and maintain strong relationships with them. Other allies besides the Knights of Life include his assistant, Liam Hessert, who knows of his secret identity and assists him on a regular basis, and also his girlfriend Claire Thomas, who helps him and provides moral support. The hero Housefires is one that Celticsio gets along with and works with often, and Clint Wright of the Interdepartmental Committee on Extraordinary Crime (ICEC) is another main supporter. The main archenemy of Celticsio is the Maple Baron, a highly industrious business competitor of Adam Bob's who secretly operates as a supervillain, trying to learn Celticsio's mystic secrets. Other enemies include the Grey Blacksmith, Poisonous Wasp-Girl, and Rozelyn D'Amilio.
While often being overlooked by popular culture and the media for the fact that he represents an archetypical superhero and is similar to heroes such as Maximumjedi, Green Sparrow, and even Macroman, Celticsio is one of the more popular superheroes in the QUACK! comics universe, ranking lower than main heroes like Noir and Good Hope however higher than heroes such as Bismark Legion or Madden Man. Besides being a highly popular comics character, The Celticsio Story is a novel by Quentin Jefferson based on the character, exploring the character's life philosophy and values more than the comics do. The book was very popular when it was released in 2003, and continues to be popular today. The QUACK! Studios cinematic universe has not yet announced the inclusion of Celticsio in the company's cinematic and television universe, however many reviewers speculate that Celticsio will be saved for the second or third phase of cinematic production.
